The sunniest April on record is ending with a spot of rain. Hooray! – that’s from the parched plants!
The lack of rain hasn’t stopped rainbows springing up all over the place. We have rainbows chalked on pavements, drawn on walls, displayed in windows, crocheted, knitted, sewn etc etc There’s no end to the collective imaginative spirit.
Linda knitted a rainbow using this pattern from Ravelry: rainbow cloud
There’s some very pretty knitted rainbow heart bunting using odd bits of coloured yarn in Woolly Wednesday’s blog.
A couple of years ago I made some felted rainbow heart bunting based on an idea in Nicki Trench’s book 201 Knitting Motifs, Blocks, Projects & Ideas.

Since then, the hearts have been repurposed and now I only have three of them left.
So, last week I was inspired to buy Mollie Makes mag a week ago solely because it had a rainbow project in it. I had the best of intentions, and still do! but haven’t started it yet.
But I do have some left-over yarn in rainbow colours and…….. ta dah! Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present…… my rainbow 🙂

This is all I have so maybe I’ll just knit a rainbow scarf.
