I’ve been very quiet on the blogging front – nothing since March! That doesn’t mean that I haven’t been knitting. I’ve knitted in between hospital appointments but these are now finished with, apart from check-ups, and I’m back on track, in the land of the knitting.
The last post was about our new year’s resolutions. I will be checking up on the progress soon, so if you’re lagging behind the target you set yourself in January, you have a little time to catch up.
Here are some projects that I’ve been slow to show:
Linda’s blue wave shawl made from yarn she got for her birthday.
Linda puts us to shame with the speed of her many projects: birthday towards the end of September and already before half of October is out of the door, she’s knitted a shawl! Whereas I patted myself on the back and felt a great sense of achievement when I knitted something from birthday yarn that was around 5 years old!
Red aran cardi knitted by Agnes
A cardi knitted by Agnes for her nephew’s baby
This baby aran cardi is by May
Another of May’s projects.
Very cleverly, May used two different colours in the jumper to disguise the fact that she didn’t have enough of either colour to make a full adult garment.
