Apologies to any followers/readers for the long silence. I can’t believe how long it’s been since we’ve posted any news – nearly 18 months!
We returned to the park in 2022, at the end of April. We try to meet in the park pavilion every week but when that isn’t possible we go to our second home in the upstairs cafe at Broadstone Mill. The cafe had a huge refurbishment recently and is now called ‘Angelica’s Tea Room’. The staff were extremely welcoming to us when we held regular meetings there and are happy for us to continue when the pavilion is unavailable.
We’ve done a lot of knitting in the last year. Far too much for me to list. It’s worth noting though, that we’ve continued to support The Wellspring in Stockport with two donations of warm winter hats.

Hats and cowls are a good project if you have odd bits of yarn left over. You can use two or more strands together to make a thicker yarn – makes the hat warmer and it knits up faster too.

No, I don’t have anything interesting to say about anything, except that I am working on my lurking…
