The 11th of September brought us together again, talking more about knitting than we did last week.
Zoom decided not to co-operate and my attempts at screen sharing Liz’s beautiful crocheted baby blanket were thwarted. But at least WordPress is behaving itself, so here it is:
Liz used oddments of yarn left over from previous projects in this CAL. What a result!
Sheila has all but finished a baby cardigan – photo will follow.
I’ve started loom knitting and have made two hats.
Maggie’s banana tree has flowered for the first time in many years and has a huge purple flower, while my tomatoes are still green and showing little sign of ripening.
We talked about foraging. There was a lot of gardening talk today!
And, of course, we had to mention the latest crazy restrictions, or rule of six, as the catchphraseologists have named it. Meeting up in person as a group any time soon is looking less and less likely. Never mind! At least we have knitting and crochet to keep us busy.
