7th anniversary on 24th August 2018!! Doesn’t time fly when you’re enjoying yourself?

People have come and gone over the last 7 years but there are three members of the group still attending regularly since the very beginning: Margaret, Alison and Krysia.

Margaret was at the first meeting and barring illness and the odd holiday has  managed to come along most weeks; Alison works full time and isn’t free during the day but always tries to come along when she’s on holiday. I  started the group and still run it so I don’t count!

When we first started meeting in the park. I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to commit to running a group and worried that I might get bored with it. But, I can honestly say that it has never been a chore or boring – quite the opposite! I have thoroughly enjoyed our Friday meetings and intend to continue enjoying them for a long time – at least until our 10th anniversary when we’ll have a BIG party.
